Logo Design

I was given the opportunity to design a logo for an up and coming business called Glamour Girlz. :) Hope you like and school has been very busy. @_@ So much that I don't have time to work on my own personal projects. But I'll find time to work on things on winter break hopefully.

Assignment for my Intro To Design Thinking Class. And update on freelance T-shirt Design

Here is the first visual project in my Intro to Design Thinking class. Other assignments have been reading articles and doing a written summary. So up above is visualizing them all together in a more broader sense.

Also an update for the T-shirt design. It's going well. Alot of ideas are being thrown out there but hopefully we'll all decide on on design. I can't wait to show you this process. :)

New school year and freelance job(s)

Hello everyone! How are you doing? 

 Anywhoo school started for me last Monday. I'm starting my graduate degree and also I will be teaching at my school part time. So I'm very busy. Lol But I do have some time to squeeze in a few freelance jobs. Currently I'm designing a T-shirt for a fashion blog. I'm not posting the option that they chose just for confidentiality purposes. But when the final shirt is done. I will post my process of working on it. Above are the rejected sketches. Also I'm working on another project but I will tell more details once it's over.

WIP Part 3

WIP Part 2

So I redrew Leaf Part 3. For some reason I wasn't satisfied with it. But I'm really liking the close-up view of FeFe, and you can see the anger in her face and eyes. I'm thinking her two friends can be in the next picture up high in the air caught by the leaf monster. And in that shot we see the back of FeFe's head.

And up next I will go back to my pin-up girl relax series. The next girl will be Serenity.

Long time no post

Hello everyone! I haven't posted here in a minute. So I kinda have an excuse lol. ^.^ The 4th of July came and my boyfriend came to visit for two weeks. I didn't get on the internet or drew anything that whole time. For shame I really need to keep that up. So I forced myself to finish the piece in the last post.

But really I'm thinking about how much I need to draw in a month and post here. I'm was thinking twice a month and a new picture each week. Maybe one day I can get to a drawing a day. Even if it's just a doodle. Cause this is an art blog for crying out loud. So I will do better next month. ^_^'

Sometimes I struggle to draw something that was so simple to me before

Took me a while to do the sketch of my next pin up girl for my series. I did about two poses before this and none of them were working for me. I settled on this pose. It was a little bit easier. Just need to fix a couple of things like the neck and hands. And then it's onward to clothes, black outlines and colors. Really excited to color this.

When to know when your done.

So lately I've been doing forcing myself to do more artwork. Which sounds crazy I shouldn't have to do that. I love doing art but I get lazy at times. So anyway while working on artwork, it always interesting to figure out the stopping point of doing art. When do I know that this is finish before I post it online? Or when I do post it online five mins later I get another idea and rapidly go to fix it. It has happen several times now. But it's all about the art experience.

Also I think when I do make posts on here I think I should put some kind of drawing here?

Dreams

Have you ever had a bad dream? A dream so bad that you force yourself to wake up? Well I was thinking the other day that what if that dream world was real to the people that inhabit it. And when they're in the middle of a conversation or attacking you you pop away out of your dream. So what happens after that? What happens to the people? Do they just go "Huh? Where did they go?"

Just a random thought...lol
